This park has a range of things to do with the family, with plenty of parking. There is a gravel walking track around its perimter, a large playground for the kids, plenty of grassed area to kick the footy, public toilets and a BBQ area with undercover seating. At the entrance there is a building used for the Lalor United Bocci and Social Club.
Access to the Cache is by one of the following methods:
1. If coming from the South, the main entrance is off High St, just before the Childs Rd traffic lights. Please note the gate is locked from 8pm during Daylight Savings or 7pm all other times.
2. If coming from the North or East (or its after dark), park in the car park at the back of the nearby fast food restaurant (enter from Deveny St) and walk into the park from there. This way is closer but there is a few stairs or a low chain fence to step over.
The Cache:
Cache is a bison tube hidden in a very public area. Watch for people in the nearby car park and at the playground. Take care when retrieving this cache. Make sure it is put back where you find it afterwards.
