Geocache Description:

Part of the 'Roman Route', a 2.25 mile circuit taking in Orchard fields, an ancient Roman Fort. The walk also features a strole through the willow woods, along the banks of the Derwent, and into the pretty village of Old Malton, before looping back towards Malton.

This late addition was only possible following the archiving of an older cache. You will need to leave the board walk by a couple of metres to access this one, just be careful you don't slip into the spring. Although it would be very clean water, it might still be pretty cold. Once secure walk past the bridge and out into the light. The next cache is on the left side of the field, so take the low footpath option.

Just off the boardwalk, slippery when wet. Decent sized container, big enough for few TBs. Please push lid on well and hear the 'click'
