Geocache Description:

The Chain Soar Children's Series No.6

Thanks to la lunatica for kindly publishing this for my son Jay's 8th birthday 12th June 2004 as these are dedicated to him :) please note the bonus will be published shortly. CONGRATULATIONS to plasmawave on the FTF!!

I have adopted the series from the original CO Shazzo which had 7 caches, some micros. Instead of archiving them I decided to rejig the numbers slightly to allow the addition of 3 new ones (No. 1, 3 and 6) and make the series fun for children. Previous finders of the old series can enjoy finding the new ones though I don't mind if you wish to relog them all since they are new containers.

This is a series of 10 caches linking Kegworth to Zouch placed for children.  There are clues under each lid which you need to make a note of the name to complete the bonus at the end, published shortly.
This is a lovely walk and at the start it is also on the flight path for east mids airport so you have a good view of planes coming into land as well as all the boats. Although all of the caches are along the canal, none of them are on the waters edge!
Please keep an eye on Geokids & Geodogs as there are sometimes cattle in neighbouring fields. Most of the walk is buggy friendly but take care at the Kegworth end between the parking and the lock, and at the Zouch end between number 8 and the lock.
As these are placed especially with children in mind (with the help of my 2 & 8yr olds) they should be easy finds, no micros, you are looking for a camo small clip box or larger.
Hints will be included with some of the caches.
Street parking is available in Kegworth or at Zouch. The whole route is approx 3.5km. Walking from numbers 1 - 5 is 1.5km and takes a little over an hour with numbers 6 - 10 about 2km so you can always do the series in two stages if it is too long for small geokids.
Please replace each cache exactly as you find it taking care to make it stays hidden from muggles and if you take a piece of swag, please replace it with something of equal or more value for the next Geokid to enjoy, I will do my best to keep them stocked up.
Thanks for taking the time to look for this series and i hope the kids enjoy the caches and swaps
