Geocache Description:

A micro cache hidden for SCAR 2014, not to be sought/found/logged until after 530pm June 20.

Another cache hidden down the back roads leading to Detachment Dundurn, part of a series of hides I now have in the area.  This is a micro, bring your own writing stick, use stealth as this road does see a fair amount of traffic, safe parking off the road is available.

"Crimson and Clover" is a 1968 song by American rock band Tommy James and the Shondells.  Some sources state that the name is simply a reflection of James' favorite colour and favorite flower combined into a song.  Other online sites suggest less innocent meanings of the song which range from sex to drugs to everything in between.  Some people over-analyze perhaps?  No matter, I have always liked the song, but NOT for its lyrics, they are actually very simplistic.  The music and the vocals, not the words, are what make this song memorable...

"Oh

Now I don't hardly know her

But I think I could love her

Crimson and clover

Ah

I wish she'd come walking over

Now I've been waiting to show her

Crimson and clover

Over and over....."  (Source AZLyrics.com)

Yes, simplistic lyrics indeed...perhaps that is why people seek deeper meaning in them?wink
