A night time only cache. You will need a torch (at least two are recommended), a kayak, a GPSr with spare batteries, mosquito repellent, warm clothes and nerves of steel.
DO NOT attempt this cache alone. Make sure you have sufficient battery power for torches and GPSrs, and are confident kayaking at night.
Night caches are fun. Kayaking caches are fun. We recently had the opportunity to combine the two, and thoroughly recommend attempting http://coord.info/GC2JXZB. At the parking coordinates you will find a boat ramp to launch. When paddling to the starting coordinates, take care to avoid boating channels and ensure you are visible (the more torches the better). We recommend hugging the mangrove coastline. At the listed coordinates you will find yourself plunging deep into the mangroves. Here you will start to see the lights that guide you. A distinctive light will make itself known with the coordinates to the final cache, which is not far away.
The cache should be navigable at all tides but higher tides are preferable. Completing this cache will entail a round trip of approximately 5km.
Please take care when completing this cache and heed all warnings. If you are at all unsure of your abilities do not attempt this cache.
