Geocache Description:

This is a minimum 1.5 mile roundtrip hike.  Most of it is in a dry creek that is mostly flat but it has

some elevation change at the beginning and end.  It is very scenic and you might see some wildlife;

lizards, snakes, birds,deer, and of coarse turkey vultures.  I saw some bobcat tracks here. Adult and juvenile.

It is in view of a cool rock formation called a hoodoo.  The turkey vultures are nest up in the cliffs.

Take plenty of water.

The permit is on file in the Palo Duro Canyon State Park office.
