Geocache Description:

A nice cool spot to write home about. Elev. about 2760. .

2016 UPDATE: This cache was burned in the 2015 Peak Fire. I won't know how cool it is here until this summer, as the brush and trees were all burned, so there's no greenery right now, just blackery. :( Hopefull it will grow back fast!

This was one of my favorite places to ride/hike to on Mother's day. My son would pack us a bag lunch and we'd come and enjoy the coolness.

Couldn't find another container like the one that was here before the fire burned the original....so I just changed it. The 'picnic' area is now a burned tree with burned stump chairs under it :( I asked USFS f they'd be restoring this area, but they didn't know yet, so I went ahead and replaced the cache.
