If you are wondering what C3F means, it stands for Carroll County Caching Fellowship. It started as an acronym used when a group of us worked on the Wizard GeoArt in Baltimore County last November. It has been used on other GeoArt and Geotrails when a group of us have tackled that trail. It is also used to describe the geocachers who attend the 3rd Thursday of the Month in Eldersburg event held at Panera Bread and hosted by Zekester & Simon. It is a great event where there is good food and great conversations as those gathered share their geocaching adventures with others. If you are a new geocacher, it is the perfect event to meet other geocachers from the Carroll County area. You do not have to live in Carroll County to be part of the C3F just like you don't have to live in Carroll County to join other geocachers at the Eldersburg Event every month. Non Carroll County residents have taken part on the trails as part of C3F and as you can see from the puzzle below, many geocachers from outside the county have attended the Eldersburg Event.
I figured that the best way to thank Zekester & Simon for hosting a monthly event and to recognize everyone who has attended their events is to put out a puzzle cache.
The word search above contains the geocaching name of everyone who has ever attended a Zekester & Simon Event in Eldersburg. If the geocaching name contains any numerals, special characters, or spaces, ignore them when locating the name in the word search. Once you have found everyone hidden in the word search, you should be able to determine the coordinates of the geocache from the remaining letters. The final location is only a couple of miles from where the monthly Eldersburg Event is held. You will be looking for a matchstick container. It is hidden in an area that can have a high muggle presence at certain times. There are several different places to park to put you within 200 feet of the cache. There is a business across the street from the final location, and they have been made aware of the geocache.
You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
