Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Whitetail Woods Regional Park

THIS IS A CHALLENGE GEOCACHE. THE GEOCACHE IS HIDDEN AT THE POSTED COORDINATES. HOWEVER, YOU MUST COMPLETE THE CHALLENGE REQUIREMENT BEFORE LOGGING THIS CACHE.

The Dakota County Park System, the crowned jewel of Dakota County, is comprised of six major parks, a regional bike trail system, and a dog park. Across the park system, amenities run the gamut from hiking trails, horseback riding, camping, paddling, crosscountry skiing, RC flying, sledding hills, and there's even an archery range. The endless list of possible activities provides a portal to the outdoors allowing you to be Forever Wild. This challenge is all about geocaching Dakota County's new Whitetail Woods Regional Park.

To be eligible to find and log this geocaching challenge, follow these simple steps..

1. Using the requirements shown below, find and log 10 unique geocaches within Whitetail Woods Regional Park.

2. When you qualify for the challenge, you MUST list the geocaches you've found including the GC number. You can type them out or you can upload a picture to your log. DON'T tell me to go check your profile. If you list them in a bookmark, your bookmark should be clear and to the point

Requirements:

1. Find and log 10 unique geocaches within the Whitetail Woods Regional Park.

2. All cache types count. Traditionals, virtuals, earthcaches, everything is game even events.

3. All previous geocaching finds DO count.

4. This challenge cache does NOT count as one of the ten finds.

5. Your hides within the park do NOT count.

6. In the event there are less than 10 geocaches within the park, and only if there are less than 10 available goecaches within the park, you may make up the difference by substituting any geocaches you've found in the other five Dakota County Regional Parks; Lebanon Hills, Thompson, Spring Lake, Miesville Ravine and Lake Byllesby. Either way, you must have found 10 geocaches.

Questions and Answers:

1. Is there a time limit? - No, you can take as many days, weeks, months or years as you want to finish.

2. What if I've found a geocache that gets archived before I find the final? - Previous finds count, no problem.

3. Can I sign the log before I qualify? - Sure, I don't see why not. But in order to log the find online you must qualify AND sign the physical log. And if you play the FTF side game, the FTF is awarded to the first geocacher to qualify, sign the physical log, and log the find online.

4. How do I know if a geocache is located within the park or not? - You can find KML files of the park borders and areas that are off-limits to geocaching at this link HERE

The difficulty rating is based on fulfilling the challenge requirement. The terrain rating is for the actual hide of this challenge cache.
