This cache is on top of a ridge parallel to Palmer Creek Road just past the "Y". There is no real parking along the road, but there is a somewhat wider place to pull off the beaten path just past the cattle guard to the northeast. Depending on your exact route, this could be a medium steep climb or one requiring some of your more extreme fallen tree hopping skills. The cache is hidden at the top, next to the edge of the cliff. The picture above is not the cache location, but a nice view nearby.
You are looking for a standard issue waterproof metal box, commonly used for geocaches. It is hidden in the typical fashion, just as you would expect here. After signing the log, be sure to re-hide the container as good as you found it so in the rare chance a non-cacher makes it up here to this exact spot, they don't accidentally stumble over it. Be sure to enjoy the view while you're up here.
