Geocache Description:

Geocaching…..History……Nature…..

This small series of caches takes you on a rural route (RR#) driving tour east of Gravenhurst. It is suggested that you begin on Reay Road, just off the Gravenhurst Parkway which is just off Doe Lake Road. Along this leisurely tour, all the caches are roadside and not intended to be difficult. All are placed on the road allowance so there is no need to go on nearby properties. Hopefully each cache will point out some historical or nature related areas and children should have fun with these as well. Enjoy and Happy Caching!

RR#1 – Beaver Creek

This creek meanders through many wetlands from the eastern part of the nearby airport until it reaches the HOC ROC river which empties into Lake Muskoka. Nearby are two federal prisons and one is called BCI or Beaver Creek Institution.

Congratulations “twistyipper” on being FTF!
