This is a map of the Rock Spring Cutoff off of Mt. Nebo Road following the Blackhawk trail south to the Blackhawk Campground Rd. (which once you reach said road, you can easily follow it North back to Mt. Nebo Rd; this short connection from the trail to Mt. Nebo Road is also highlighted) see the highlighted loop below for the loop:
After hiking this short loop of the Blackhawk trail (about 2.1 miles), we left some caches for the next hikers to enjoy. The trail is also open to bikers (nonmotorized only).
This particular cache is located near the junction of Mt. Nebo Loop Rd. and Blackhawk Trail. at the south end of the loop. As it is just off the road, it is pretty easy to access, especially compared to most of the others in the series. Look on the north side of the trail, about 15 ft off the trail.
