North Jersey Rapid Transit (NJRT) Ramsey Bike Path
This is where we began and followed the path for NJRT 01-07 for about one mile. 07 is a 2-stage multi that contains a historic interpretative sign and finishes about 510 feet south - and to the right across the stream. Many local dog walkers and runners continue further south along the PSE&G right-of-way.
The North Jersey Rapid Transit line (N.J.R.T.) stretched from Paterson, New Jersey to Suffern, New York. Most of the old rail trail is now owned by PSE&G, however this stretch in Ramsey is a suburban bike and walking trail.
