From SR87, turn at waypoint named Gate. Drive one third of a mile to parking waypoint. Hike one tenth of a mile on gentle terrain to cache.
A Geocacher named Viejo placed many fine caches in this area. Plenty of them were atop the Mogollon Rim. He found such interesting places and hid such interesting caches that his hides were among the favorites of the area. When he decided that he could no longer take care of these caches, he offered them up for adoption. Local cachers here adopted them and are keeping them going. In thanks for all the good caching that Viejo provided to our area, I dedicate this cache to him.
