Based upon the size and shape of a strange nearby object, one can only ponder its purpose at the Hagerstown Regional Airport. Is it a doppler radar used to track weather patterns for incoming and outgoing flights? Is it an emergency water tower? Is it art? For those who choose to deny all of the "cover up" explanations...ponder this...could it be a telecommunications device to communicate with E.T.? The small satellite dishes and beacon of light mounted atop this gigantic sphere forces you wonder what top secret activities might be underway at this small, regional airport in remote western Maryland.
