Every time we paddle the slough, we see ducks, geese, and herons. But this is an invasive species, not native to Oregon.
This cache is not accessible by foot due to walls of blackberries. We didn’t place it in the blackberries, but as with all caches in the area, bring scissors in case the blackberries have gone crazy.
If you’re paddling from Whittaker Pond, it’ll seem like this cache is north of where the slough is. But keep going, and you’ll come to a branch of the slough that backtracks towards the northeast. Take that branch and you’ll find it.
