The Royal Winnipeg Rifles is responsible for all Army units from Northwestern Ontario to British Columbia. Founded in 1893 with a long proud history of service to Canada. The Royal Winnipeg Rifles (R Wpg Rif) were nicknamed "Little Black Devils". The officers and men of The R Wpg Rif train as Infantry soldiers : there task - "to close with, and destroy the enemy".
