The geocache is not at the posted co-ordinates.
The geocache is here ... thank you Mrs Lat&Long for the photo.
A little geocache background
Stanthorpe has become power trail central in south-east Queensland. One of the Queensland Mega Planning Team’s initiatives was to add more variety to the Stanthorpe area by encouraging the placement of mystery caches. With this in mind, here is a geocache that offers the trail-weary geocacher something to offset the tedium of all those long 161 metre drives between traditional hides.
A couple of cryptic clues
Even though this cache was placed in July 2014, the name reflects the time of year the mega event occurred. While looking for the correct co-ordinates, you may encounter a number of red herrings. It will be obvious you have found one and you can discard any and all information within that particular element.
What you have done to get here, indeed, what most computer users do ALL the time, is all you need to keep doing to find the all-important clue. This clue will give you the south and east minutes and decimal minutes – ten (10) numbers in all, in the order they are to be used.
