Geocache Description:

Waiting for winter to pass on, Mr. T would spend time searching Google Earth for interesting places where we could place some caches.  He found this picture of an old stone church, which looked very interesting.

In late spring we went out and found the church.  We were able to find some information on it's history.  This church, southwest from Markinch, Saskatchewan, was called "Bethlehem Lutheran Church".  It was formed in 1906 and disbanded in 1933.  In 2007 the church records were moved to the Southey Lutheran Church.  A small cemetery is located behind the ruins.  The first burial was in 1901.  There are 127 graves as of 2009.  Take the time to see where these settlers would have come from!

Notice the shape of the windows, the brickwork, the stone workmanship.  Wow- so many evil places to hide a cache, but we didn'tsmiley

You are looking for a camoed container.  Please replace it back the way we placed it, well hidden!  Your signal could bounce around with the tree coverage.

Enjoy another interesting place from our history!
