Rampion Bellflower Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

HiDude_98: I'm going to let this one go. Once we are able to get back out on the river, we'll work on hiding a better hide, more up the bank to weather the storms better.

Geocache Description:

You can only get to this cache via public water access. All land on each side of the river is private property. If you put in and take out at the recommended points, it will be just over 11 miles on the water. You are looking for an orange match stick container.

As you may or may not know, Rapunzel was named after the rampion bellflower that was growing in the garden. This has nothing to do with the hide, but wanted to keep with the Rapunzel theme for cache hides along this river.

Bring plenty of water and snacks, for this trek can be long and tough when the water is low.

Cache is about thirty feet from the river when it is low and you will have to walk through tall grass during some times of year. Watch for snakes! If the river is flowing, you should be able to hold onto the trees to make the grab.

Have fun and be safe!
