Utsikt mot Kvalsundet og Kvaløya - Tromsdalstinden i bakgrunnen

Gråtinden på Ringvassøya er ny Ti på Topp-topp i 2014 og er den nordligste av toppene. Turen starter på toppen av eidet mellom Ytre Kårvik og Skarsfjorden på ca. 200 moh. Du følger den merkede Ti på Topp-stien via nordenden av Fløyfjellaksla nord for 368-vatnet og videre rett mot toppen av Gråtinden på 587 moh. Du har den sterkeste stigninga de første 100 høydemetrene. Dette er en lett tur over mest lyngmark, mellom bergknauser og en del steinpartier. Fra toppen har du flott utsikt alle veier, blant annet innover Kvalsundet og utover mot Sandøya, Sør-Fugløya, Rebbenesøya og storhavet.

Cachen inneholder opprinnelig loggbok, blyant, FTF-sertifikat, noen små bytteting og to geocoiner.

Gråtinden at Ringvassøya is new top in 2014 for the Ti på Topp-hiking. Tour starts at the top of the isthmus between Ytre Kårvik and Skarsfjorden approx. 200 meters above sea level. You follow the marked Ti på Topp-trail to the top of Gråtinden at 587 m asl. You have the strongest ascend the first 100-meters height. This is an easy hike crossing most heaths, between rock outcrops and some stony sections. From the top you have great views in all directions, including inward Kvalsundet and beyond to the islands Sandøya, Sør-Fugløya and Rebbenesøya and the Norwegian Sea.

The cache contains initially log book, pencil, FTF Certificate, some small trading items and two geocoins.
