If you are in town, we highly recommend you go to this free festival. 2014 marks the Gulf Coast Balloon Festival's 10th year! We have a blast every year helping to crew the balloons, which is a volunteer position. If you want to see balloons, come in the morning (around 6 a.m.) or in the evening (around 7 p.m.) as long as it is not windy. In 2014, they are expecting over 40 hot air balloons. This number grows every year. The pilots we have encountered are always so friendly and love sharing their hot air balloon experiences. We thought this letterbox would be a great way to share some of those stories. We began the log with our personal story. Going up, up, and away is an AWESOME experience!
The cache contains a stamp and stamp pad, which is what makes it a letterbox cache. THE STAMP AND STAMP PAD ARE NOT FOR TRADE. Please use the stamp and stamp pad to stamp your notebook. Leave a mark in our notebook log such as a letter about your experience with hot air balloons or your wishes about hot air balloons. If you have your own stamp, please use it.
You are looking for a camo snap and lock container. It has room for some tradables, just don't trade the stamp and stamp pad. BYOP
Congratulations to Ian's Dad for FTF!
