Today, I wanted to go up in the mountains above Fourth of July Pass, in search of the cache "Elk feeding ground". My wife and two of her friends decided that they would tag along and go picking ferns.
As it turned out it was more of an adventure then they had antisipated. After I grabbed the nearby cache the girls saw a patch of ferns that they wanted to pick. The three of them jumped out and got to work on the ferns. As they got intent on their gathering one of them got too close to the down slope of the road and the next thing we saw was her rolling down the slope. After a short but very fast run she came to a stop with everything intact but her dignity. We just had to commemerate this event with a handy and quick cache and so this one is born. You are looking for a dark green pill bottle hiding in a pine tree. Good luck and watch out for those slippery ferns.
