This series of caches is an antidote to the proliferating "only available to premium members" syndrome plus the massive increase in tiny microcaches which now litter the landscape!!!!!!!!
I well remember in the “early days” of geocaching - virtually ALL caches contained stuff that you could take away -as long as you left something in return. This was great for families and gave youngsters that little bit extra – they never knew what might be in the container! I’ve nothing against micro’s ..... it’s just that I love caches with “things” in them - so that ALL family members can get involved .
This may explain why I’m placing “Dave’s Family Caches” in this area!!! Don’t forget ..... if you take something OUT, please put something back IN.
Each cache is either named after members of my family, the names of some good friends or the names of different types of rocks and gemstones.
