Geocache Description:

To celebrate the arrival of the CLIPPER Round the World Yacht Race to the city in June 2014, a few caches to help people re-connect with the River Foyle. The geocache trail can be completed by walking or cycling along the cycle and pedestrian path networks adjacent to the river. Alternatively, the locations can be easily accessed by car and a short walk to the co-ordinates.

Nearby you will find one of the City's 'Point of Departure' monuments. This one describes the citys involvement during World War II as a sea port for Allied forces.
