Just off the Trans Canada at a Ponit of Interest not to far from here was the Town of Donald. Donald was a divisional point on the Canadian Pacific Railway. But, in 1899 when the CPR abandoned Donald in favor of Revelstoke, Donald disappeared and was a small sawmilling community until the mid 1990s all is now gone. When I was small me and my family lived here for seven years.
