Wallowa County Challenge Traditional Cache

This cache is placed in the landscaping of the Wallowa County Chamber of Commerce.  It is going to be a cache ... but also a repository for "passports" that cachers can take if they want to participate in the Wallowa County Geocoin Challenge.  There is plenty of parking on site ... and we I have been working with the WCChamber to make this a great opportunity for geocaching in our county.

Come and claim a smiley at this "park and grab" cache.  And ... if you so choose ... take one of the enclosed "passports" for the Wallowa County Challenge!  Simply put ... there are 24 specific caches listed in the passport.  They are positioned all over our beautiful county.  Each o fthe specific caches has a 'secret code' piece placed inside (i.e. "K-9").  Find secret codes for 7 required caches and choose 8 others - then bring the passport into the Wallowa County Chamber office (host of this cache) ... and you will receive one of the limited coins we have made as a reward for having fun! (Sadly, these coins are not 'trackables,' we are hoping to establish another challenge in the future that will reward with trackables.)   There are many, many other caches ... and you can find hours of challenging fun in any direction from this cache!  We want to let folks know that we are 'caching friendly!'   Welcome to Wallowa County!
