Rachel's B-day Cache Traditional Cache

 This cache was placed here because of the beautiful artwork and fascinating historical location. 

Background Info: This location was part of Banning Mine that experienced a mine explosion on Dec. 19, 1907. This incident resulted in the state's worst mining disaster and the nation's second worst mining disaster.

This is off the Youghiogheny River Trail at Banning Mine #3 and is a low muggle area. This location can be muddy so expect to get your shoes dirty. Also no climbing in the mine area is necessary to make this find.  Make sure to re-hide the cache well so that it is not visible to the naked eye since locals come here to paintball. The cache is an forest green ammo container.
