TARNOPOL CHURCH – SCAR2014 Traditional Cache

Explore this small Catholic Church and its historic cemetery.   Sacred Heart of Jesus Church was built in 1920 by the immigrant families who settled the area in the early 20^th century. Please note that this is a SCAR2014 cache and should only be sought on and after June 20, 2014 at 5:30 pm. 

 After exploring, then  go find the cache outside the Church property.  You are looking for a small cammoed lock n lock with caching treats.  FTF prize is to take one without a trade.

Tarnopol was set up by Polish families in 1907 who came from the Tarnopol region of Poland.  In 1939 that area  was taken over by Russia and became part of Ukraine.   This farming community continues to be made up of those of  Polish and Ukrainian  ancestry.
