Geocache Description:

One cache in a series to pay tribute to those people that helped shape our country.

Joseph Roswell Hawley (October 31, 1826 – March 18, 1905) was the 42nd Governor of Connecticut, a U.S. politician in the Republican and Free Soil parties, a Civil War general, and a journalist and newspaper editor. He served two terms in the United States House of Representatives and was a four-term U.S. Senator.

All caches in this last series of caches are preforms that have been thrown on the ground at ground zero. The way I would have preferred to place these caches and the way I placed the other in this forest are no longer allowed.

All have a pencil in them but be sure to bring you own.

The trails here can be muddy and wet and the bugs can be bad in places.
