The JOE cash series was started by Altosaxplayer, a member of the Tri-Cities Geocachers. The name JOE means " Just Off Exit ". The JOE caches are placed no more than two tenths of a mile from the exit and hint is a dead give away to the cache location. JOE caches are an easy way to pick up more cache finds while traveling.
Simple park and grab. Please place the cache back just as you found it so that other catchers can have the same hunting and finding experience as you did.

Atkins Tank history - Atkins, Va. variously called Atkins Switch, Atkins Tank, and Attkins after the Atkins family who were large land owners. The name Atkins Tank derived from the water tower that once filled steam engines here. The name "switch" in Atkins Switch refers to the junction here for a branch line.
