Each year the Cub Scouts enjoy an end of year camp which includes activities and challenges that encourage them to employ skills they have learned throughout the year. This year, after learning about gps and geocaches, they have hidden their own geocache. Other activities they participated in included canoeing and building bird houses from reclaimed wood.
Scouts Canada recently updated their Cub Scout badges; this geocache initially contained 20 of the old style badges as trading items. An official geocache logbook and pencil are also enclosed.
This cache is located at Camp Mitchell which is a Scouts Canada property maintained by the 1st Sioux Lookout Scout group. Scouts Canada practices 'Leave No Trace' camping and we ask that you do the same during your visit. Thank you.
