Having mentioned this to our families and to friends in the Geocaching community it started to take on a life of it’s own....
The event will be held on Saturday the 19th July between noon and 5pm, at The Graziers pub in Stanley nr Wakefield.
Plans so far include:
A raffle (donations of prizes gratefully received)
A draw for FTF (donations accepted)
A cake stall ( looking for some bakers out there)
Several other "fun type" games will be added in due course.
The landlord has offered to provide sandwiches ( we could do with getting an idea of numbers). He’s providing for free but I dont think he’d mind if we accepted donations)”
At Terry's cremation we gave out sachets of wild flower seeds. These were so that people could scatter them "wherever" and remember Terry each time they passed. It was subsequently suggested that we do the same thing at the event and ask for a donation in return.
Parking may be at a premium, if you have to park on the road then please do so carefully.
