Geocache Description:

Manabeshima is an island located in Okayama Prefecture Kasaoka.

真鍋島は岡山県笠岡市にある島です。
島内は古い漁村の面影を残した家並みがあり、1977年の映画「獄門島」や1984年の映画「瀬戸内少年野球団」のロケ地となったことでも知られています。
中四国沿岸部に多い真鍋姓の発祥地でもあります。

また、この島は多くの野良猫が暮らす猫の島としても知られています。
猫好きの人は猫のおやつを持って訪問するといいでしょう。
（但し餌はあまり過剰に与えないようお願いします）

このキャッシュは瀬戸内少年野球団のロケ地となった小中学校の近くに隠してあります。

Vestiges of the old fishing village is located the island.
It became the location of the 1977 movie "Gokumon-to(獄門島)" and movies of 1984 "Setouchi boys' baseball team(瀬戸内少年野球団)" is also known.
It is also the birthplace of many people claiming to Shikoku coast of the "Manabe" last name.

In addition, the island is also known as the island of cats. Many stray cats live.
It may be helpful to visit with a snack of cat if you are a cat lover.
(And therefore you should not give too much too much food, however)

It's in hiding near the elementary and junior high schools which became the location of the "Seto Inland Sea boys' baseball team" this cache.
