Literally!
To celebrate the end of our second year attending nearby Cal Poly Pomona, we decided to place a cache around the corner from our house we lived in for all of our second year. Unfortunately, we had to move out and find a new place for our third year. This cache is meant to be a farewell to this nice San Dimas neighborhood and a reminder of the memories we have of living here.
To access the cache, walk down the hill just off the road. Once you get about 50 feet, you should see a small path that I presume is a maintenance trail for a sewer manhole a ways down the hill. Once out of sight of the road, just follow your trusty GPS. You can also catch a glimpse of our old home and it's backyard on the way to the cache. Watch out for wildlife and overgrown weeds.
Plenty of parking on Camino Del Sur or Via Romales, just watch for neighbors outside and use stealth. The cache is a medium sized snap-lid tupperware filled with lots of great "swag". Please only trade equal or greater value stuff to keep the cache strong! Also, be sure to hide it better than you found it! Trackable and $10 iTunes card are inside for the FTF. Happy caching!
