Geocache Description:

We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, while others bright, some have weird names, but they all have learned to live together in the same box. ~Robert Fulghum

The cache is at the posted coordinates, and can be signed at any time.  But you must first meet the requirements below before you can log a smiley on this challenge. This cache is located along the sea wall on Treasure Island. You will get amazing views of San Francisco, Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge & the Bay Bridge. You will also be taken to areas that have long been abandoned by the US Navy.

In order to qualify for this challenge you must have found or own a cache for each color in the box of crayons.  (See list below) The color can either be in the cache title or in the cache owner’s name.  You also must have at least 4 different cache types included in that list!

You must post some form of proof or list that you found enough qualifying caches, whether it's a list of names & GC's, spreadsheet, bookmark, etc. If typing out a list please mention which geocaches have the required 4 different types.

Some brief rules to follow:
-Any cache type can be included in your list, including event/CITO caches. Again there must be at least 4 different cache icons/types in your list of caches.
-If the color is made up of two separate words, you may use either word in the color title.  IE: Forest Green may use the word Forest or Green.
-No duplicate caches are allowed. If you are using the cache owner’s name, you may only use each name once.

The D/T rating is for the whole challenge and not for the hide.  The hide is a 1.5/1.5.

List of Colors:
  • Black
  • Blue
  • Brown
  • Green
  • Orange
  • Red
  • Violet or Purple
  • Yellow

PGC Checker

This is my first challenge checker and the first use of the challenge checker in San Francisco. This only works for violet and not purple. I will work and see if I can get a checker that does either/or.
