This trail follows the bank of the Green River to a picturesque spot. Spend some time here to relax, just watching the water go by.
Saw several kayaks making their way through the rapids.
The path is very rough, with loose gravel, rocks, steep up/down sections, narrow ledge, logs to cross,....
So, have a good time and enjoy the area, but watch your every step on the journey to the "River Bend".
Round trip is one mile, but seems like more.
Parking is available at two different "Washington Department of Game" parking lots. Either N 47° 19.389 W 121° 54.333. Across the street is the trailhead. This path is along the river bank. Or N 47° 19.453 W 121° 54.712 A trail in the woods leads to a gravel access road which goes down to the river. This path bypasses a rough section of the trail.
The cache is a clear Rubbermaid container full of lots of goodies.

Update 2/22/13
Easiest access as of this date is from parking/trailhead at N 47° 19.453 W 121° 54.712 since trail from Green River Rearing Ponds is in some disrepair. After walking down the hill and to the right along the river, you may need to make your way through a jumble of washed up logs along the river bank. At N 47° 19.049 W 121° 54.682, look for the trail to climb the hill to the ridge. After that the trail along the ridge to the cache is very clear. You can see more details regarding the quickest route from the trailhead to the cache on this page, including the option to download a copy of the track log by clicking the "Export" link near the top.
