At the posted coordinates you will find two markers containing the names of 34 East Prairie citizens who have given their lives in the service of their country in World War I, World War II, The Korean War, The Vietnam Conflict and Operation Enduring Freedom.

It is possible, even probable that some of you will know where to go start looking for the cache without completing this first step. You are, of course, welcome to do that, but I think it might be worth visiting this marker first, even if just to pay respects to the heroes of a small Missouri community, which is why I added it to the cache.
