Geocache Description:


This cache is at the posted coords. It is a 1/1.5 after completing requirements and is my standard container.

WHERIGO is "a toolset for creating and playing GPS-enabled adventures in the real world. Use GPS technology to guide you to physical locations and interact with virtual objects and characters."

This has truly been a fantastic adventure for me and with all the changes/improvements over the years in technology, Wherigo is available to most (if not all) using a cellphone and/or certain GPS devices. If you have neither of these, FAF (find a friend). I have found two geocachers, besides myself, that have completed this challenge already in North Carolina. There are probably more.

THE 7/7/12 WHERIGO CHALLENGE:

YOU NEED TO FIND AND LOG 12 WHERIGO CACHES
LOCATED IN NORTH CAROLINA
Within these 12 Wherigo caches, you MUST have at least:
7 Wherigo caches by 7 different cache owners
AND
7 Wherigo caches in 7 different NC counties.


CHALLENGE REQUIREMENTS & GUIDELINES:

[1] You can NOT use a Wherigo cache that you are the cache owner of on geocaching.com.

[2] Cache can be archived now, but must have been active when you found it.

[3] No date restrictions.

[4] To make verification of completion of challenge either:

       (1) send a list to me with GC #, cache name, cache owner's name, NC county

       (2) post a list with your log following my example:  (My list = 8/8/12)

[5] If someone post a "found it" and has not completed the requirements, the post WILL be deleted.

[6] If other cachers are with you, when you go to the final, they can sign the log, BUT they MUST post a note on the cache page saying that they signed the log and are working to complete the challenge. Then when they do complete it, they can log it as found without returning to the physical location.

[7] Remember that this is a game and is supposed to be a fun adventure! ENJOY!!!
