With all of the shops, restaurants, and amphitheater near by, it is easy to forget why this area is called the Wharf. The word "wharf" is defined as a landing place or pier where ships may tie up and load or unload. The Wharf has a beautiful marina located on the Intercoastal Waterway, locally known as the Canal. This cache location is an easy place to see the marina as well as the canal.
There is no need to enter the "boaters only" portion of the marina, nor is there reason to take apart anything for this smiley. Parking for your boat or car is located near by. If you can touch the water, you are not in the correct place. Please be sure you return the cache exactly where you found it to ensure the difficulty rating remains correct.
