So I was hiking up the Peter's Canyon trail on June 14, 2014, and I decided that I needed to plant one on this side of the trail. I quickly constructed this cache, and called a friend to meet me at the place we intended to hide this one in 15 minutes. So I tried to print out the log, but the printer was offline. I did whatever I could to try to get the printer back online, and I finally got the log to print. The time was ticking, so I grab the cache too hard and break the glue on the inside. I ignore it, hopped on my bike and started riding to the spot as fast as I can, but there was something wrong with my bike. I looked at my back wheel, an it had a flat! I went back to my house and grab my electric scooter, which doesn't go as fast as a bike, but it comes close. I hurried my way up, and I met up with my friend, happy but exhausted. I put my cache in the intended spot, but it was too big for its location! All that trouble for a cache that was too big! My friend laughed at me (because that's what friends do), and we tried looking for another place to hide this cache. However, another deadline was approaching. It was finals week, so I had to study my hardest for the whole weekend. My parents had told me that I couldn't be out of the house for more than thirty minutes, and I was aproaching the 15-minute halfway mark that would signal me having to go home. We looked evreywhere, and we finally found the perfect spot for this cache, even though it was not placed how it was originally intended to be placed. I went home, and everything was fine; or I thought it was. The next day, I C IT came to find this cache and posted a "Didn't find it" log. I didn't think the cache was too difficult to find, so I dial up my friend again and ask him to go check out what's going on with the cache. He went there, and it was broken! I was rushing too much when I had placed it, and I had broken a piece of the chache that was key to it being where it is. With what happened in mind, I constructed a new cache, and placed it there. So far, nothing has happened to cause it to break. Anyway, it's back up and running now. Hope you enjoy this cache!
