Geocache Description:

Having lived on the Coast of Carolina for 20 years, I suddenly found myself landlocked in Tennessee for the better part of two years recently. While there I placed some 40 caches, all named after Jimmy Buffett songs to remind me of the sea until I could return.

Now that I'm here in Beaufort, I've decided to place some caches to celebrate that I'm finally back to the sea, though for how long is anyone's guess as pirates are ruthless these days.

Each cache in this series will be named after a famous North Carolina pirate. Pirate Captain Paul Williams was a Carolina pirate who began his career as a buccaneer in the West Indies. He accepted the King's pardon at New Providence in 1718, but soon returned to piracy. He was hanged a short time later at Eastman, Massachusetts.

Some rules of the high seas as you seek this treasure:

- Remember, this is a VERY HIGH MUGGLE area! Stealth is definitely required.
- Bring your own pen. This cache is a micro.
- Please replace EXACTLY as you find it or as it was "meant to be placed," and hopefully both of these will ring true when you locate this cache.

Congratulations to SaurerFamily on FTF!!!
