Geocache Description:

Signal Goes To The Birds Challenge Series

5Arrows

This is a challenge cache and is located at the posted coordinates. The Jasmer challenge asks that you find a cache that was hidden in each of the months since geocaching began so you would have to have found a cache hidden in each month since May of 2000. This includes the current month when you claim this cache as found. A final twist to this challenge is that a qualifying June 2000 cache cannot come from Idaho. It is acceptable to have found June 2000 caches from Idaho as long as it/they are not used to meet this challenge. As with all challenge caches in this series, previous finds count. Please document your meeting of the challenge in a way that is clear to all. Previous discoveries count. Log entries will be verified through finder's profile and "Found" logs that DO NOT qualify will be deleted.

We made a trip down this road with S&T one day to do some maintenance on Coffee Point after having done some maintenance on the Bird Trail. The idea for this trail was hatched this day and took a great while to come to fruition.

Many of the challenge caches in this series were inspired by the challenge caches put out by the League of Idaho Cachers and used with their permission.

A four wheel drive or high clearance vehicle is highly recommended for access to these caches. The caches are located close to the dirt road so use the conveyance of your choice. Just don't go off the road with a vehicle to get the cache.

Please don't head out to this area if it is raining or wet as, at best, you'll tear up the road and, at worst, you'll get stuck. If you're smart, you will only use four wheel drive to get out of the desert if it starts raining or leave before it rains if you do not have a four wheel drive. I'd highly recommend waiting for the snow to melt before trying for this series of caches.

The terrain rating is for the road if it gets wet.

These caches were not intended to contain trade items. They are also not there so you can cache swap or leap frog to complete the series faster.
