Welcome to the G.A.R. Park!
This park is the site of many different special occasions the bring the town's people together like the Memorial Day Ceremonies and Charter Day.
The G.A.R. Park has a lot to offer local people and visitors alike as one of the many beauties of Winchendon. On a sunny day you can usually find people walking their dogs, kids playing catch or some just relaxing while reading a nice book in the grass. You might feel compelled to spend some time wandering around and checking out the historic items, sitting in the the gazebo or even catching a Little League game across the street in the Spring.
