A lovely walk with a small hike with rewarding views of Achiltibuie and the Summer Isles. The Cache is located in an amazing part of the world.
Head to the turn off to the "mast road" - road-track leading up to the BT mast just as you enter the village of Altandhu, on the right if you're heading northwards. Walk (or drive but beware of pot holes) up the track til you reach the mast, then hike up the hill directly behind it following the little path. You can stop at the viewpoint on top of the big rock for amazing photo opportunities of Achiltibuie and its mountains and the Summer Isles. Then carry along the path but take a left just as it starts to go down hill and there you'll find the cache hidden under a rock. Happy finding!
