This a tribute cache to the all of the volunteers at the Sun Prairie Volunteer Fire Department who give up their free time and risk their safety to keep us all safe. We often take it for granted that a fire truck will come when we are in need. It is these brave few that make that happen. This should be a pretty easy park and grab. There is no parking in the round a bout or on Grand Ave (Hwy C).
About the Sun Prairie Volunteer Fire Department
The SPVFD is made up of around 45 volunteer members and recently added some full time positions called "Career Members". The fire department serves the City of Sun Prairie, Town of Sun Prairie, Town of Burke, and the Town of Bristol which is almost 96 square miles. The department works out of two stations both located in the City of Sun Prairie. The primary station, station 1 is located on N. Bristol Street near W. Main Street. The second station, Station 2, is located about 100 feet north of this cache on Grove St.
