Papranica is a beautiful pebble bay with a small pier and a few houses in the near surrounding. It is located about 25 minutes away from the centre of the village Silba at the path to bay Pernastica. Living here is very puristic. You have to cope with the lack of running water and electricity.

There are two harbour bollards (see reference points "Bollard 1" and "Bollard 2") within the bay. From the final position of this letterbox cache, you can see "Bollard 1" in direction 6.0° and "Bollard 2" in direction 226.4°.

The cache container has a volume of 3.6l and is located about 4m beneath the water surface. Therefore, you should be very careful and remember that you are seeking this cache on your own responsibility! Do not hyperventilate before diving. A pressure equalization should be done in any case to protect the eardrums.

It is strongly recommended to seek this cache only if
  • you are not alone,
  • you have the ability to dive about 4m deep, unlock a carabiner and take a 3.6l container (balanced to approx. 5N buoyant force) back to the water surface,
  • you are carrying a diving mask (optional: fins and snorkel), and
  • the weather conditions - especially the water temperature - enables relaxed diving.
Please open the cache container only in a dry environment and please close it properly before bringing it back! Please do not place any trading items in the cache container.

  • a pencil.
