Kashimanada Seaside Park - Observation hill -
A Kashimanada Seaside Park is one of the prefectual parks in Ibaraki. It is the large park which can enjoy a scene of magnificent Kashimanada beach. There is a parking lot along Route 51. There are a shop and a restaurant near the parking area. Hokota city is famous for its production of melons. Please check the opening hours (営業時間) at the Official HP (sorry in Japanese).

I visited here the other day when I came to confirm the status of a geocache nearby. I thought it is a good location to place another geocache because of its beautiful scenery. Although it was early in the morning in the rain, I could visit GZ and met a person who walked the dog.

鹿島灘海浜公園 〜見晴らしの丘〜
鹿島灘海浜公園は茨城県営都市公園のひとつです。雄大な鹿島灘の景観を楽しめる広い公園です。国道51号沿いに駐車場があり、地域の特産品の販売を行っています。鉾田市はメロンの産地で有名です。レストランもあるようです。公園や売店・レストランは所定の時間以外は閉鎖されているかもしれません。公式HPでご確認ください。

先日、近くのキャッシュを確認しにきたときに、いい場所だなと思いましたのでキャッシュを置くことにしました。そのときは公式HPの時間外だったのですが、なぜか入れました。早朝で雨が降っていたのですが犬の散歩をしている人がいました。
