The cache is a small plastic camoed container with a log, pencil, and a few fishing flies and lures.
This cache is located at a small lake in rural Albany County, out on the open prairie. The road to the area is paved to within 1 mile of the cache, then it is a packed dirt road. Meeboer Lake is open for fishing and we have taken the canoe/raft out on it, too. When we placed the cache, the sign states you can camp here for up to 5 days. There are no designated sites, just the parking area, and the facilities consist of an outhouse, but it is a nice area with beautiful views of the Snowy Range, Sheep Mountain, and Mount Jelm. When we were there placing the cache we saw antelope and many different kinds of birds.
The area is surrounded by private land, so please honor the landowners, and don't trespass.
