You are seeking a small container on the outskirts of S'toon which is seeing phenomenal growth in this area too! In 2014, when I hid the cache, there was little construction type work happening but in 2016, that is quickly changing! I think some caches along North Central are either gone or will be destroyed very soon. Happily, this is NOT one of them! I replaced the container on April 17, 2016-small container, new log sheet, cache on. Should be an easy find but might be more difficult with lots of foliage on the trees in the area.
Goodbye Stranger is a song by progressive rock band SUPERTRAMP, which first appeared on their 1979 album BREAKFAST IN AMERICA-one of my all-time favorite albums from that time period of my life
. The meaning of the song is quite obvious when one listens to it or even reads the lyrics-perhaps it was directed at the groupies that follow musicians/bands wherever they go or just about someone who wants no 'relationship', no strings....just encounters with 'strangers'-who he never really gets to know as a person. Everyone can apply their own take on the song but the general gist is quite apparent. The song is an interesting arrangement of instruments from electric piano joined by intermittent electric guitar chords and bass-topped off by the unmistakable sounds of Supertramp with several layers of vocals to complete the melody and the falsetto vocals during the chorus. Just a great 'sit back and listen' song, in my opinion.
*****Congratulations to WIICACHER for being FIRST TO FIND in less than 15 minutes after this cache was published! I don't have many 'local' caches so this was a record FTF time for one of my hides! Good job!****
"It was early morning yesterday
I was up before the dawn
And I really have enjoyed my stay
But I must be moving on
Like a king without a castle
Like a queen without a throne
I'm an early morning lover
And I must be moving on....
Goodbye stranger it's been nice
Hope you find your paradise
Tried to see your point of view
Hope your dreams will all come true
Goodbye Mary, Goodbye Jane
Will we ever meet again
Feel no sorrow, feel no shame
Come tomorrow, feel no pain....."
